How To Rebrand (and ReLaunch) Like A Rockstar – Part 3

Posted on by admin in Branding

getting your audience investedThe final phase of rebranding and relaunching like a rockstar is getting the word out. Building buzz is all about getting your audience invested in what you’re doing.

Your blog or newsletter are great ways to share valuable information, like what to expect and how your upgrades and new additions will benefit them. But even more important is the opportunity to highlight your personal journey. Telling a compelling story generates the kind of shared experience and common ground that has your audience rooting for your success and inspired to take action for themselves.

Posting content can often be the only way we reach our audience, so use it to generate excitement before, during, and after your launch.

Giving them a sneak peek is like giving concert goers a VIP tour backstage. Sharing your struggles AND your successes gives them a greater appreciation for how you arrived at this moment and all that you overcame to get there. That’s inspiring. It sets an example and gives them permission to pursue their own journey.

Here are some keys to remember:
1.   Start sharing about the process long before the launch itself to build interest and momentum.
2.  Share honestly about the challenges and roadblocks you’ve encountered and lessons you’ve learned.
3.  Explain the benefits of your new brand/service/product/offering.
4.  Release more details as you go and keep them in the know about your launch date.
5.  Make it fun and enjoy the process! (I’m getting all dolled up for my rebrand photo shoot—and I can’t wait!)
6.  Engage your team. (Bringing my team into the rebrand boosts energy and excitement around these big changes. It builds a natural momentum that trickles down into client interactions as well.)
7.  Ask for client feedback to get outside perspective and keep your market engaged in the process. (We engage our private Facebook group with questions and let their answers guide our decisions and even our verbiage in new materials!)
8.  Share the big reveal in a way that’s inclusive—i.e., exciting and valuable to them.

You could even create a series of posts centered around it all that gives your readers a behind-the-scenes look at what you’ve been working on.

Here’s how we do it: Visit our Facebook page to follow our progress as it unfolds. We’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes pics and launch reveals that’ll inspire you to take action in your own rebrand!
