How To Rebrand (and ReLaunch) Like A Rockstar – Part 1

coaching certification programAs an entrepreneur, your business is always evolving. Your brand should support that evolution by continually expressing the vision and values your business represents. If not, YOU feel a sense of shame and disconnectedness that trickles down into everything from your content to your logo.

Over the next two months, we’ll look at what it takes to rebrand like a rockstar so you can choose the right time to rebrand, create a plan of action, and get the word out to the world.

The first thing to get is that rebranding is a must. If you’re not inclined to at least refine your brand every few years, you’re likely to experience stagnation.

So, how do you know when it’s time to rebrand?

Sometimes the expression of your brand—AKA branding—is no longer a fit. You always want your brand to accurately represent your business, so when it doesn’t, you feel it.

For me, it was when I started to notice that tinge of brand shame cropping up. The important thing to remember is that there’s nothing wrong with that. On the contrary, it’s actually a sign that your business is growing and it’s time to shake things up to accommodate those changes.

I’m really excited that we at Brand with Jena are experiencing that level of growth! We’re filling our high level masterminds and will be launching a coaching certification program to allow other entrepreneurs to coach and mentor our clients. This is a huge achievement!

It’s great to celebrate these wins with my team, but it also quickly started feeling like I had outgrown my original namesake brand. It’s time to play bigger and better! And, just like you might have experienced, it has been a struggle at times to connect the dots and choose how to best represent this new iteration. But, when you dig deep and consider your brand as the heart of your business, you get to the core of what you really want to share and what it all should look like.

Once you’re clear on how you want your brand to represent your business, you can more confidently create the strategies that bring in the revenue. I’ve shared before that you can’t do one without the other successfully, and now I’m taking a dose of my own medicine! Brand with Jena will be undergoing a complete 180 degree transformation in the near future. Stay tuned as we uncover how we did it, what we learned and, of course, the new brand!
